Taroyama is a quiet villa area in Karuizawa, located near Naka-Karuizawa. In this video, I take a walk along a road beside the Mikage Yosui waterway and introduce the atmosphere of the area.
The sound of flowing water and the trees along the road create a peaceful atmosphere that is very characteristic of Karuizawa. Taroyama is a relatively small villa area developed after the war, with villas surrounded by trees. The area has an undulating landscape, and depending on the location, it is also possible to enjoy views of the surrounding mountains.
The Mikage Yosui waterway is also of the area's attractions. Walking along the waterway allows you to enjoy nature while experiencing the quiet atmosphere of Karuizawa.
