I spent some time taking photos around Miyota Town in Nagano Prefecture. 📷🌿
When people think of Mount Asama, they may picture the view from Karuizawa. But Mount Asama is also incredibly beautiful from Miyota Town, located on the southern foothills of the mountain. 🏔️✨
One of my favorite scenes was the Shinano Railway. From a bridge, the railway tracks stretch straight into the distance, creating a beautiful landscape. 🚃 And just when I was taking photos, a train came along!
Miyota has a quiet, natural atmosphere that feels different from the busy tourist areas of Karuizawa. The town also has historic and cultural places such as Shūrakuji Temple, Odai-juku, and the Asama Jomon Museum.

浅間山というと軽井沢からの景色を思い浮かべる方も多いと思いますが、御代田町から見る浅間山もとても素敵です。
橋の上からは、まっすぐに伸びるしなの鉄道の線路を撮影。ちょうど電車もやってきて、御代田町らしい風景を写真に収めることができました。🚃✨
御代田町は、軽井沢とはまた違った、自然を身近に感じられる静かな高原の町です。
軽井沢を訪れた際には、ぜひ御代田町にも足を延ばしてみてください。
